Historic locations and events are noted. Legend at the upper right. Depiction of Fort Laramie at the foot. Nicely illustrated map from the cowboy artist, Irvin 'Short' Shope (1900-1977) who was a painter and muralist who also illustrated numerous books and magazine covers. His signature at the lower right includes the brand for his father's ranch, the circle arrow.
