View of Thomas Palsgrove's 'Half Way House' between Manitou Springs and the summit of Pikes Peak. It started as a cabin in the 1880s, but Palsgrove, kept adding rooms over the years until it became a twenty-two room hotel. Ruxton Park was developed as a town site by Palsgrove and his brothers.
