Memoir of a man who was maimed in a mining accident and how he overcame this tragedy to become an accomplished scholar and motivational speaker. Heber J. Grant (1856-1945) was the seventh prophet and president of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and he held the position the second longest (26 years) behind only Brigham Young (30 years). He was known for guiding the Church through some of its toughest times including the Great Depression and World War II. Flake/Draper 3837.
