A group of notes and doodles from the artist and director, Trent Harris, when he travelled through Timbuktu during January of 1998. "there is a club in Tmbuktu with Disco Ball + Walls of Blue It costs a buck to go inside you cannot dance - I know - I tried - you can sit down + buy a Coke Or-buy-a beer you best forget their dads will fill you with regret. For Muslimmen they all be mess with them they will see your ASS in Jail without a key heed my words, It Hapt to Me."

Trent Harris has directed nine feature films and scores of documentaries and experimental pieces. To date he has been honored with retrospectives at: Raindance Film Festival (London), 92 Y Tribeca (New York), BUTT Film Festival (The Netherlands), Utah Museum of Contemporary Art (Salt Lake City), Mar del Plata International Film Festival (Argentina).
