Included are two letters. A single page TLS on letterhead from Pasadena based bookseller, S.F. McLean, to the author Clifton Johnson. The other is Johnson's single page ALS response to McLean. Johnson's letter includes a snapshot of Johnson in the woods next to a shack. Both letters reference this title and are housed in an addressed envelope with cancel that is tipped in at the front. The envelope is addressed to McLean's in Johnson's hand.
