Nice view of a snow covered wood building surrounded by pine trees. Bear Gulch opened in 1938, and was Idaho's second ski area that was designed and sketched out by Alf Engen. Bear Gulch operated into the late 1980s. In 1989 the US Forest Service burned down the lodge (seen in this image) and that was the end of Bear Gulch.
