A centennial reprint of Rand McNally's first western atlas and facsimiles from period publications, combined with narratives authored by Morgan concerning the map of each state. This volume contains the same material but was drastically reformatted from the 1956 edition. The book was downsized considerably, to about half of the original dimensions, and the maps recolored and reordered to list the states alphabetically. Saunders 60.
