This small item is a reprint of a letter in the Niles National Register 61: 209 which was copied from the Evansville Journal. In the note on the letter's provenance Morgan surmises that John McClure was the actual author, not Dr. John Lyman as identified in number 86 in Wagner/Camp. Saunders 22. Rittenhouse 508.
