Nice image of a group of Native Americans inside a lodge pole home. The photographer, Henry Calfee, is left of center in the view.
Henry Bird Calfee (1847-1912) came to Montana in 1870 and was active in Bozeman where he produced early panoramic stereoviews of Yellowstone. In the early 1880s he conducted Yellowstone lectures with W.W. Wylie. His views are sought after and rare.
