Charming view of dozens of costumed children lined up on the steps of a large porch. "The second day of the three-day grand farewell celebration under the auspices of the Pemberton Improvement Association to the children of the popular Summer colony took place this afternoon. A costume parade with a doll and baby carriage division featuring more than 40 children of the district was held on the Hotel Pemberton veranda, when the inclement weather made it necessary for the committee to accept the hospitality of Manager Macris." - Boston Globe (09/06/1926).
