Rockafellow, Captain in the Sixth Michigan Cavalry, for June to November, 1865 was published in this volume for the first time. The diary covers the march from Fort Leavenworth to Fort Laramie, the Powder River campaign, the establishment of Fort Connor, and the march to Fort Bridger and to Camp Douglas, Utah.
