Panoramic view of commercial buildings and houses in the Central Business District of Denver, Colorado. The Tabor Block, Albany Hotel, Baptist Church, Arapahoe School, Windsor Hotel, Union Station and the Swedish Church are among the downtown buildings. William Henry Jackson (1843-1942) was one of the most prolific (and maybe the most famous) of Western photographers. During his lengthy career, Jackson photographed numerous views of the West between Nebraska and California, from cliff dwellings to industrial urban centers.
