Bill for Fisher Beer to Jacob Alt, who owned and operated his namesake saloon that was located at 109 South Main. Fisher Brewing Company, is one of Utah's oldest breweries, with a rich history spanning over a century. Founded in 1884 by Albert Fisher, it became a prominent brewery in the Interior West, surviving Prohibition to become a large-scale producer. After several acquisitions and changes in ownership, the brewery closed in 1967. In 2017, it was revived, and is a thriving brewery and taphouse on the corner of 3rd West and 8th South, where they serve a fine selection of excellent beers. Stop by and say hello.
