Excellent descriptions of the old mining towns of Panamint, Darwin, Bullfrog, Rhyolite, Beatty, Greenwater, Harrisburg, Skidoo, and Leadville. Death Valley Scotty is featured as well as the old Greenland Ranch [Furnace Creek]. One of the finest books on Death Valley. Desert Voices p.64-65. Paher 692.
